To lead and manage the activities/personnel within receiving and order processing. Develop appropriate processes, control and performance measures to ensure that performance meets or exceeds stated objectives. Ensure that we have adequate personnel to run the department, giving them the necessary equipment and that they are focused to accomplish their mission.

Position Responsibilities include:
Develop, maintain and enforce all our policies governing operation of Receiving, Warehouse, and Order Processing. Work with the warehouse manager to maintain the warehouse such that: Personal safety is optimized Material and equipment damage is minimized Inventory accuracy and put/pick performance is maximized Cleanliness and neatness is practiced Ensure inventory accuracy levels are consistent with corporate goals. Maintain work order/sales order picking performance consistent with our business objectives. Maintain and report area performance measures to the warehouse manager on a weekly basis. Maintain service levels in each area consistent with corporate and customer service requirements. Ensure the accuracy of freight based documents entering and leaving our facility. Overall responsibility for: Operations, including working with suppliers to schedule freight and material requirements Fork truck maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and safety Inventory adjustment process to ensure high unit integrity and timely adjustments Cleanliness of the work area Recommend and implement procedures to enhance the control of inventory integrity and improve inventory accuracy. Ensure that orders are properly stacked on pallets and/or packaged to protect the orders from freight damage. Investigate cause(s) for Trouble Report Forms generated due to Order Processing failures and initiate corrective action as required. Any other jobs or tasks as assigned by warehouse manager.
